First, he was traded to the Toronto Raptors along with Goran Dragic in a sign-and-trade deal for Kyle Lowry. Later, he was traded to the New York Knicks alongside O.G. Anunoby in 2023.
Born on September 19, 1999, Achiuwa was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, but his family moved to the US when he was a teenager.
