The Tennessee Titans will be entering the Cam Ward era when they take the field in the 2025 season. While Brian Callahan’s head coaching tenure didn’t start on a positive note (3-14 record in 2024), one silver lining to come out of it was that it landed them the No.1 overall pick, which they used on Cam Ward.

While C.J. Stroud and Jayden Daniels have set the bar very high for rookie quarterbacks (winning postseason games in their rookie years), realistic expectations from the Titans fans and Brian Callahan should be to see weekly progress from Ward all year long. Tennessee is not entering the season as a team on the cusp of making the playoffs. The Titans' 2025 season will be defined by how Brian Callahan and the coaching staff create a winning formula while simultaneously developing Ward along the way.

What is the Tennessee Titans' depth chart for 2025-26?

A quarterback's best friend is the big men protecting them, and the Titans, who allowed 52 sacks last year (via Statmuse), understood the assignment clearly. They shore up their offensive line for a rookie signal caller by adding two key pieces in guard Kevin Zietler and tackle Dan Moore Jr. during free agency. This move completed the whole makeover on the offensive line, which Brian Callahan started from last season, when the Titans added JC Latham and Lloyd Cushenberry through the draft and free agency, respectively. Wide receivers Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson were the veteran additions by Tennessee’s new general manager, Mike Borgonzi. He also selected two wideouts in the draft in Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike to provide depth behind Calvin Ridley, Treylon Burks, and Lockett.

Tennessee, which ranked 30th in total team sacks in 2024 (via FOX Sports), parted ways with a long-time Titan, Harold Landry Jr. Their only big move on the defensive side came in the form of linebacker Cody Barton. While Mike Borgonzi took an Edge (Oluwafemi Oladejo) in the second round of the draft, he did not address the defensive line for the rest of the draft, betting on nose tackle T’Vondre Sweat to take the next step.
